Pretty story about Tom and Jerry

Tom and Jerry are an American animated series of short films created in 1940, by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. It centers on a rivalry between its two title haracters, Tom, a cat, and Jerry, a mouse. In 1958, Hanna-Barbera was sold to Taft Broadcasting Company for $12 million (about $110 million in 2010 dollars).

The cartoons were originally produced for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from 1940 until 1957. After MGM's animation studio closed in 1957, Hanna and Barbera began producing new Tom and Jerry shorts for Warner Bros., starting that same year. After more than 20 years of only producing the shorts, Hanna and Barbera decided to start producing a full-length feature film starring the characters in 1992. The plot of each short usually centers on Tom chasing Jerry with the intent to either catch him

or trick him into not catching him; however, some shorts put them both on equal footing against other characters such as Spike the Bulldog or Butch the Bulldog (who were introduced in Tom's Little Sister).

Once upon a time, there was a house cat named Tom and a mouse named Jerry.

Tom was very naughty and Jerry was very clever. They both lived in a big house with lots of rooms.

The first room is called the living room. The second room is called a bedroom and the third one is called the kitchen.

One day, Tom saw a fishbone on the floor in the living room and he ate it up quickly before Jerry could see him doing that. So Jerry ran away from Tom as fast as possible because he didn't want to be eaten by Tom at all! But then he got caught by Tom! And then Tom ate him up quickly before Jerry could escape again!!!

Then finally they both became friends because they realized how much fun they had together!

Tom and Jerry are a classic cartoon series. The show was first aired on October 6, 1940, and was created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. It is one of the longest-running animated TV shows in the history of television.



The series has been aired for more than 900 episodes since its inception. It is still going strong with new episodes being produced regularly. It is popular among kids as well as adults because it has a lot of action in it along with comedy that keeps both audiences hooked to the TV screen throughout its airing time.

The show revolves around two characters named Tom and Jerry. Tom is a cat while Jerry is a mouse who keeps trying to escape from Tom but always gets caught by him at the end of each episode. This happens again and again like clockwork until Jerry finally succeeds in escaping from Tom's grasp at some point during an episode.

Tom has been featured in other shows too such as Tom & Jerry Kids Show, Tom & Jerry Tale, and The Tom & Jerry Show (2014). He also appeared alongside other cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck Sylvester, and Tweedy Bird in The Looney Tunes Show (2011) which was based on the popular Looney Tunes franchise created by Warner Bros Animation.
